Plain English: how the site pays for itself, and the rules we keep so it never gets in your way.
The short versionThe wheels are free and stay free. The site is paid for by advertising, and occasionally by affiliate links in guides. Ads never appear inside the wheel area, never cover the result, and never above the wheel on a phone. Affiliate links are marked where they appear and cost you nothing extra.
Advertising
- No ads inside the wheel, between the options box and the wheel, or over the result.
- No ads above the wheel on phones. You get the wheel first.
- No popups, interstitials, autoplaying video, or ads that follow you as you scroll.
- Ad partners may use cookies to personalise and measure ads; see the privacy policy for your choices.
Affiliate links
Some guides link to products such as classroom supplies or streaming gear. Where a link is an affiliate link, we may earn a small commission if you buy after clicking it, at no extra cost to you. We link to things we would recommend anyway. We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program among others.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your lists, results or any user data.
- We do not accept payment to bias a wheel or alter a result. The draw is the same for everyone.
- We do not run sponsored content presented as a guide without labelling it as sponsored.
