How people use the random country wheel
A random country wheel is a geography teacher’s friend and a cook’s excuse: spin, and that is tonight’s cuisine, this week’s research project, or the flag the class draws. Fifty countries across every continent are loaded; the full list of 195 is one paste away if you need it.
Remove-the-winner mode works through the list without repeats over a term. Weight the countries your curriculum covers to make them come up more often.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to what teachers, hosts and streamers ask us most
Can I add every country?
Yes. Paste a full list of countries, one per line, into the options box. The wheel handles 195 slices; labels are hidden at that size but the winner is shown large.
Can I spin for a US state instead?
Replace the list with the fifty states, one per line, and copy the link to keep the state wheel.
Are capitals included?
Not by default. Write "Japan (Tokyo)" style entries if you want the capital shown with the result.
